strawberries and the beach

Things continue to look up ... we got the first strawberries of the season this weekend. Spain knows how to grow them good, they were so red and juicy. We also went out to the beach today for a couple hours. We sat in the sun (with jackets and a blanket) and had lunch then I read my book while Sven read his magazine. It was just so wonderful to be outside in the sun, even if it's still a bit cold. Although not everyone thought it was cold, some kids were swimming and lots of people were in their swim suits. I need it to be in the 70s (20C) before I will even consider that.

In other news we started making some curtains for our apartment and I submitted my first Swedish job application. Oh fun!

sun ... all the time ...

... last night I didn't actually see darkness. When I went to bed at 10 there was still a bit of light out and when I woke up this morning briefly at about 4:50 there was light, and when I finally woke up at 7 there was a lot of light! Sweden is a crazy place!!
